 The Westville wastewater treatment plant is a extended aeration activated sludge type followed by sand filtration and UV disinfection. The plant has been designed for an average flow of 350,000 gpd (1,325 cu. m/day) and a maximum of 700,000 gpd (2,650 cu. m/day).
