Marine Lance Cpl Joshua Birchfield

Marine Lance Cpl Joshua Birchfield of Westville, who died
Feb. 19 in Afghanistan, was remembered this past Memorial Day Weekend with a dedication ceremony in his honor at Prairie Meadow Park, Westville.  The town of Westville, along with many family and friends, dedicated and renamed the Little League fields, now called Prairie Meadow to Birch Fields. The Ceremony was a major success. Thanks for everyone who came to support.  

  

 


 
 
   

Westville Class of 2010
Graduates

Westville High School commencement exercises were Friday night, June 4, 2010 in the High School auditorium. There were 51 graduates presented with diplomas, of them eleven received an Academic Honors Diploma.

The senior choir members sang "The National Anthem" after the faculty and seniors took their seats. Mr. Wm. Mark Yates, Middle/High School Principal presented the class. James L. Thorne, Ph. D., Superintendent of Schools and Ronald Warnke, School Board President, presented the diplomas to each of the students as their names were called.
